Made in Huntington, Long Island NY
The “Made In Huntington Film & TV Festival” is new in 2025, and is intended to encourage film and television production in the Town of Huntington, on Long Island. Filmmakers from around the world, or around the corner, are invited to come to Huntington this summer, to produce short subject programs (40 minutes or less) or feature length (depending on category) that are made in some part, within the town. Additionally, a Beyond Huntington track offers an additional set of categories for content produced beyond Huntington's borders
Programs submitted in the Made in Huntington track should also feature persons, places, and/or cultures found within Huntington. For example, cultures may be identified by ethnicity, national origin, foods, music, religious affiliation, language, sexual orientation, or special needs. Filmmakers may submit their completed works into the competition for prizes. There are various prize categories for entries from professional filmmakers as well as non-professionals and students.
For this year, we are applying to have submissions sent through Film Freeway. We are working on connecting with Film Freeway to set up the official Made in Huntington Film & TV Festival Submissions Page.

Submissions open Friday May 31, 2024. The regular deadline for entries is Monday January 20th, 2025.
In March, a team of qualified jurors, selected from the film and television industry, will screen the entries, by category, and select the finalists within each category, to then be presented in a series of 40 public screenings, during the festival period April 3rd-6th, 2025.
Winners will be selected from among the finalists in each category.
